The original location was near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In 2021 Switch Synthetics acquired a small dealership near Springfield, Illinois.

In 2024 Switch Synthetics acquired two dealerships.

West Coast Oil located near Las Vegas, Nevada

Better MPG Oil near Evansville, Wisconsin

In 2025 Switch Synthetics grew to its fifth dealership located near Yuma, Arizona.

In 2026 Switch Synthetics became a dealer for more products, recently adding Tuff Jug.
